Hello there! If you are new here, you might want to subscribe to the RSS feed for updates on this topic.

UPDATE: The zip file now includes the PNG and GIF formats. Start downloading!

I don’t know about you, but I had enough of those fancy “web 2.0″ web icons.  Sure, they get the attention of the visitors because of the stylish looks (bright colours, reflections and shadows), but do you really need these crying-for-attention icons? Baring this in mind (and the fact that I love pixelated icons) I designed my own icons for this blog, which you can now download for free.

The mini-pixel icon set contains 111 icons, all inside a nicely constructed psd file (Adobe Photoshop CS4) and is completely free of charge. A few icons were taken from different iconsets (only copyright free icons) and adjusted to have a more pixelated look.  Just download it, change the colours to your liking and put it online. A simple thank you would be nice if you’re using the icons and post your url so I can have a look at the result.
