We all know the business case for doing user experience work: Investing upfront in making products easy to use really pays off. It reduces project risk, cost, and time while improving, efficiency, effectiveness, and end user satisfaction.

But what if your UX investment isn’t getting any results?

Hilary Little, an envagelist of human centred design and UX professional, wrote an excellent article for UX Magazine about the main reasons why your UX investment isn’t paying off and what you could do about it. The main reasons, according to Hilary, are rather common organizational ‘behavior’ patterns than anything else. With her 15 years of experience in the field, you’d better read this.
